Note One of twelve prints of Roman emperors, with the same borders as found on prints of twelve Roman empresses printed and sold by Thomas Bakewell next ye Horn tavern in Fleet-street, London. The prints of Roman emperors are inferred to belong to the same series as the empresses. Bakewell was probably not the first publisher to issue impressions from the plates: his imprint appears to have replaced an earlier, now indistinct, publisher's name
