De venenis. Written in a rounded gothic hand, 33 lines to a page. Initials, paragraph marks and heading in red. Fol. 1 (By a later hand) Pollux de Venenis editus a Magistro/Petro de Ebano.//REuerendissimo in christo parti et domino. domino Iohanni/diuina prouidentia summo pontifici Petrus de/ebano minimus medicorum... 17 Et ideo mater ommnium medicinarum tiriaca est. a medicis/approbata. Amen. (red) Deo gratias. amen. amen.//Explicit pollux de uenenis breuis et utilis//tractatus. Editus a magistro Petro de Ebano.//qui dicitur consiliator. deo gratias Amen. A few marginal notes by later 15th century hand, Partly shorn away in rebinding.

Biographical note
This MS. originally formed part of a larger volume containing MS. No. 390 (Johannitius) and MS. No. 83 (Articella): on the first leaf is a foliation 46, which carries on from the last leaf of the Articella MS. The 'De venenis' was first printed at Mantua in 1472.
