Written in red and black in a neat gothic script. Initials in alternate red and blue for the Vein section and the Moon tables.

There is a rough outline pendrawing in red of a male figure to illustrate the 'Homo venarum'.

Title in alternate red and black: 'Indictiones/ffesta mobilia/Tabula planetarum/Homo venarum/Tabula lune'.

Publication/Creation

Late 15th century

Physical description

1 sheet 2 ll. 8vo. 18 x 13 cm. On vellum. Slightly defective in the folds. The folds show that this MS. (a folio sheet 25.5 x 18 cm) was originally intended to be kept in a rectangular container, first doubled over forming two 4to. leaves, and then folded twice forming an oblong of about 13 x 4.5 cm. The title as given above would then appear uppermost.

Acquisition note

Particulars of acquisition not known, but probably purchased c. 1900.
