Note Francis St. D. Rowntree 1928-1996 was awarded the OBE in 1986. In 1987 he was appointed Vice President of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and also Vice President of the Institute of Health.
For a period in the 1970s, Frank Rowntree was the Health Education Officer for Sheffield. He was invited into the BBC Radio Sheffield studios for a regular short weekly health spot.

Summary Frank Rowntree talks about keeping warm. He talks about the susceptibility to cold and cold injuries in newborn babies. He mentions that babies are not born with the shivering reflex.
