Description

Prometheus was one of the Titans, a divine figure associated with the origin of fire. In the legend by Hesiod, Zeus is tricked by Prometheus and as a punishment Zeus has him bound to a pillar, his liver eaten daily by an eagle and nightly renewed until he is finally freed by Heracles
