Lettering

The haunted lady, or "The ghost" in the looking-glass. Madame la modiste. - "We would not have disappointed your Ladyship, at any sacrifice and the robe is finished à Meriveille." The death of a young girl in the employment of a fashionable dress-maker, accelerated, it was supposed, by over pressure of work, created a painful feeling; and was the cause of subsequent remedial legislation on the subject. - July, 1863.
